Out of Commission For A Few Days At Least!
The timing on this is horrid... and so has my reaction been to some bugs on PEI. I got SO many bites around one ankle that my whole foot got swollen, hot and very red. I made it back to New Brunswick and they have slapped me on massive doses of antibiotics, anti-inflamatories and told me to stay in bed with my foot up to keep this from spreading! The doctor even drew a dotted line on my foot and told me to get to the hospital if the redness goes beyond that point...
So, I snuck down to post this, but I am going to be out of action for a few days. Sorry to all those of you waiting for the great unveiling. I will activate everything as soon as I can.

Hugs! Hope you're getting better - that must be some bite!
Take care of yourself. The unveiling will wait a few days until you're feeling better :) Those bites that get infected are really nasty :(

Yikes, Jen, that is scary! I hope you are doing much better very soon.
Oh Jennifer - what a way to end a vacation. Take care of yourself and get better quick.
I'm late to the party, but in agreement with the others - good things come to those who wait!
I just found your blog. I hope you feel better soon! I kind of wish someone would constrain me to bed for a few days, but "a few" is probably all I could stand!!
Jumping on the hope you feel better very soon bandwagon. I just wanted to say I love your work and hope to be able to continue getting patterns designed by you.
Adding my get well wishes ... and a brief thank you for your wonderful designs. I am currently stitching your Stormbringer... normally, I keep about 3 or 4 projects in rotation ... but since I started on Stormbringer five weeks ago, I have stitched on it exclusively ... putting it down most reluctantly to do boring things like eat, sleep and work ... even the new Harry Potter novel had to get in line begind it. I just have to fill in the smaller wing and some of the clouds and the beading left ... it has been a pleasure even though I did rediscover why I abominate rayon floss ... boy, is the stuff ever slippery, even a laying tool doesn't help much in getting it to sit smoothly on the fabric ... really slows down the process. I bought Dragon of the Winter Moon, of the Summer Sky, Here Be Dragons, the Dragons Tea Party and the Ice Dragon's Kingdom at the same time and look forward to two years of stitching your stuff ... figure it'll take that long.

Get better soon, can't wait to see the new stuff. It is missed, you are a wonderful designer and I have enjoyed stitching many of your deisgns. Take care of you!
I was so sorry to read of your illness. This is very scary to see you haven't blogged in a couple of weeks, I hope it hasn't gotten worse. I've enjoyed ALL your blogs and appreciate your creativity and talent. I greatly admire you and can only imagion your frustration at being laid up for so long. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and hope you are feeling better very soon and back to your busy self.

I popped into the local cross-stitch shop here in Moncton the other day, and apparently Jennifer is feeling better and just putting the finishing touches on the new web-site. Yay to both!
